i scratched my grand theft auto 4 dvd

Another $50 down the drain but lets see what i can do about it. Google it.

It seems that 360's are eating disks. this is not a good thing, Bill.

So here is what I found on the web.

You either eliminate the scratch or you prevent your games no longer et scratched. The second solution is to go get disk armor at www.disk-armor.com. It costs about a buck and you peel off the plastic shield and put it on the disk. Leave it on and its protected. If you disk gets scratched the shield gets damaged and you just replace the shield. Not a bad deal for a buck.

If you have a scratch there are several options. Sometimes the store which sold you the disk will "clean it" for about $10 bucks. You can also use toothpaste or a banana.

put toothpaste on the disk, spread it around and leave it on for about 5 minutes. then wash it out. You can also use pledge. Make sure you use one of those microscopic cloth, the kind to clean eyeglasses.

You can also use a banana. Go to the fruit bowl. You can also watch this banana dvd cleaning video at http://lifehacker.com/software/macgyver-tip/clean-a-scratched-cd-or-dvd-with-a-banana-289578.php

I personallyhttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gif bought and will use the disk armor product, its guaranteed for life and for only a buck its better to be safe vs sorry. Again, here is disk armor link www.disk-armor.com.
